Celebrating our Commitment: Supporting Charities and Sustainable Initiatives

Each year, incognito^® donates 10% of all profits to charitable causes. Beneficiaries may be individuals on a mission to raise money for a cause close to them, student-led groups passionate about social-change, local charities supporting local communities, or international organisations raising awareness of global issues. We donate 10% because we believe that as a business we have a responsibility to care, and because we want to support those who have transformed their compassion into action.

This year, we are proud to report that we will be donating more than ever before to good causes. In this blog post we’d like to introduce you to a few of the recipients, and explain a bit about the important work they’re doing.  As we expand and grow we are looking to increase the diverse range of partnerships we support as we look to widen our charitable reach.

Some of our charitable partnerships

• https://khoracollective.org/freeshop: Over two and a half thousand products have been sent to the Khora Free Shop, contributing to a dignified shopping experience for refugees and those in need.
• Travel Foundation Partnership: By partnering with the Travel Foundation, an international sustainable tourism charity, we have supported sustainable tourism programs worldwide, safeguarding natural sites from the impacts of tourism.
• Bethsaida Hermitage: Located in Kerala, India, this eco-travel lodge channels all profits into charitable projects, including orphanages, a training institute for women, a hospital, and support for the elderly. Our donations of incognito® products help generate revenue for their charitable work.

New Endeavours: In addition to our ongoing commitments, we are thrilled to share our latest projects:

• Heal Rewilding Sponsorship: We are excited to announce our sponsorship of land through www.healrewilding.org.uk, contributing to rewilding initiatives that align with our environmental values.
• Bethsaida resort – our CEO and founder will be heading off to Bethsaida resort in India in the new year to re-stock their shop with incognito and discuss other ways in which we can assist their development.

• Edinburgh Malaria Initiative: A student-led project combating malaria and dengue fever by empowering communities and providing local employment and education opportunities.
• Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People: A charity providing specialized care and support for children and young people diagnosed with life-limiting conditions.

• Meningitis Now: The only UK charity dedicated to fighting meningitis, funding vital research and providing support for those affected by the disease.

Sustainability Initiatives: Beyond charitable donations, we invest annually in carbon sequestration, supporting tree planting initiatives that have positive and lasting impacts on the environment, society, and the economy.
